Qualspec History

Qualspec was founded in Sydney, Australia in 1994 to offer testing and inspection services to the country's major retailers and their suppliers who were then manufacturing locally as well as sourcing from Fiji and China. Textile testing laboratories were set up in Huizhou and Shanghai at the request of our key clients. Further offices have since been set up across Asia expanding our global reach through a multi-cultural team selected for technical expertise, experience and integrity.

In April 2019, Qualspec joined Worms Safety, the first global alliance in quality management composed solely of product and industrial specialists. Qualspec’s teams will join forces with SgT, Worms Safety’s global textile specialist, to complement our services and bring more added value.
